“Thanks to all for such a wonderful fundraiser this year. It was held at the West Citrus Elks’ Lodge in Homosassa, and was a rousing success. We had great food, great company, great awards and a fantastic Silent Auction. The fundraiser totaled over $16,000, and we thank each and every one of you who helped make it happen!

Deputies came from California, Colorado, New Jersey, and, well, just about everywhere! It was wonderful to meet each of them, and hear of their successes.

This year also marked our first hosted educational seminar. Rex Stockham (FBI) and Bill Kift presented a thoroughly interesting seminar, and all who attended (over 50 deputies from around the country) were able to gain additional insight to the science behind the bloodhound. Awesome.

832 K-9's Deputy Dogs was originally funded by Kody's modest life insurance, and the private donations of family and friends. As the foundation continues its mission, ongoing support must be in place, and we hope those who value our work will be moved to contribute. We have grant applications pending from a number of corporate sponsors, and are developing more weekly. But the most important partners we have, are those individuals who want to make a difference. By contributing to 832 K-9's Deputy Dogs, you are helping to save lives, find lost children, and locate fleeing bad guys. Because that, truly, is our mission. 100 percent of the dollars donated to Deputy Dogs, is used for the actual expenses of the operation. No administrative charges are paid from these funds and dollar donations are not the only needs of this organization! Are you interested in volunteering your time? Expertise? Talent?
