“Thanks to all for such a wonderful fundraiser this year.  It was held at the West Citrus Elks’ Lodge in Homosassa, and was a rousing success.  We had great food, great company, great awards and a fantastic Silent Auction.  The fundraiser totaled over $16,000, and we thank each and every one of you who helped make it happen!

Deputies came from California, Colorado, New Jersey, and, well, just about everywhere!  It was wonderful to meet each of them, and hear of their successes.

This year also marked our first hosted educational seminar.  Rex Stockham (FBI) and Bill Kift presented a thoroughly interesting seminar, and all who attended (over 50 deputies from around the country) were able to gain additional insight to the science behind the bloodhound.  Awesome.

Special thanks to all who made the first event at the Plantation Resort such a wonderful event!  Bloodhounds abound when we gift throughout the evening–Florida, Minnesota, South Carolina, North Carolina, Connecticut, and ten more states added to the list of our dogs working in law enforcement!

The Not-so-Silent Auction was a hoot–-way too many items for us to keep track of!  We’ll have to think hard on how to make that work smoothly!  (Gee–tough problem to have <grin>)

Awesome stories, and great supporters, all!
Thanks!!!
